Our fertility specialists at Stanford Medicine are very involved in research specific to LGBTQ+ family building and have published numerous studies pertaining to fertility and LGBTQ+ people, including health equity within fertility care. Research studies

• Pathways to fatherhood: clinical experiences with assisted reproductive technology in single and coupled intended fathers.
• Shared IVF among female couples: clinical outcomes of the Reception of Oocytes from the Partner (ROPA) method.
• Sexual and/or gender minority disparities in obstetric and birth outcomes.
• Reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialists’ knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes regarding the care for transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
• Multicenter case series of transgender men with fertility benefits: Access to care and navigating obstacles.
• Double intrauterine insemination (IUI) of no benefit over single IUI among lesbian and single women seeking to conceive.
