As a leading children’s hospital, our cystic fibrosis (CF) researchers participate in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network (TDN), which is dedicated to finding a cure for the disease. Funding more CF research than any other organization, TDN has made nearly every CF drug available today possible.

Clinical trails

In addition to our work with the CF Foundation, our researchers also conduct various clinical trials and research. Clinical research has focused on areas such as the use of gene therapy to replace defective genes, safety testing of newly developed medications, the lung function of infants and effective treatment methods for certain complications.
