Fourteen-year-old Roza Saad, who suffered from pulmonary arterial hypertension, had heart and lung failure and was on life support when she was transferred by ambulance plane to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's Pediatric Transplant Center in September, 2020. Two weeks later, she received a new pair of lungs, a new heart, and a new chance at life.
