Play and Distraction

We offer Bedside Entertainment Theaters, virtual reality, and augmented reality for pain management and distraction during procedures such as IV placements and dressing changes. The child life specialists and our team of volunteers bring VR to patients.

Physical Therapy

We make rehab exercises fun instead of a chore. Physical therapists bring headsets loaded with lively challenges and activities into treatment rooms and the hospital’s gym equipped with state-of-the-art motion capture sensors.

Education

In conjunction with the Hospital School, teachers deliver VR devices to the bedside and guide students on virtual lessons and field trips. We utilize math games and history lessons to supplement patient learning.
