Dr. Abi-Hanna is a board-certified pediatrician and completed his general pediatric residency at State University of New York-Upstate in Syracuse. He continued at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where he excelled in his fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology. Dr. Abi-Hanna has a medical degree from the Lebanese University. Dr. Abi-Hanna joined the Pediatric Gastroenterology Associates group in 1999, joining Stanford Medicine Children's Health in 2016.
Dr. Goldman is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics. He completed his pediatric residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. He went on to complete a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. An active medical researcher, Dr. Goldman recently has been working on a collaboration between the Naval Medical Research and Development Command and Sanofi Pasteur aimed at designing protocols and techniques to develop a multivalent adhesin vaccine for enterotoxigenic E. coli. Dr. Goldman was the program director for the Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Fellowship program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Jami is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics. He loves having children as his patients because they are so resilient and joyful. They get well really quickly after being ill, and it's always a wonderful thing to see.He likes to work with parents as partners and makes sure they always have an open dialogue so they can trust each other and solve the problem sooner. Dr. Jami always listen closely to parents' concerns. As a parent of two children, he can really understand the parents' perspective. Open and honest communication allows us to create the best care plan for the whole family.
Shahla Khan majored in psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to get a master of public health degree specializing in nutrition from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She has been a registered dietitian for over nine years and has worked with both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric populations counseling patients with various nutritional concerns, including diabetes, heart disease, weight management, nutrition for critical or traumatic injuries, and tube feedings, and has worked with high-risk premature infants. Most recently she worked as a NICU dietitian. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children.
