Pediatrics
Coming from a big family with younger siblings, I have always loved interacting with children. Experiencing the impact of a few great doctors in my life, guided me to pursue pediatrics. These relationships instilled in me the importance of feeling heard and respected even as a child.
As a pediatrician, I take an individual approach. I love working with families to come up with the best decisions for their kid together. It’s important to know what each family’s values are, what’s important to them, and what their concerns are. As a mother, I understand what they are going through and how hard it can be.
One of the best things about my job is being able to watch a child grow through the years. It’s important to develop a rapport and trust that continues throughout their teens. My dream is that I’ll eventually have the privilege of treating the same families for generations.
