My Approach

Initially, I wanted to be a cardiologist. But during my time in medical school, I developed a strong emotional connection to the idea that if you give a patient the right care early on in their life, then–ideally–that patient won’t actually need you anymore. If we do our jobs well enough, we can help our patients live normal lives and they don’t have to come back to us. That’s the ultimate goal.
