I am a pediatric urologist who specializes in caring for children with simple as well as complex genitourinary disorders, with a focused commitment to providing compassionate care for the whole family. I take a team approach to patient care, always making sure that parents and children understand the condition and the available care options, empowering them to actively participate in their treatment and recovery.

As a skilled surgeon, I perform intricate repair and reconstruction—a lot like plastic surgery within the body—after ensuring that the condition will not resolve on its own. As both a scientist and a physician, I am actively working to advance innovations in pediatric urology through original research while simultaneously providing critical care to children and their families. In particular, I am designing and testing pediatric urinary devices to address disruptive conditions facing children today, with the hopes of improving their quality of life tomorrow.
