Carina Baird, MD

I wanted to be a pediatrician ever since childhood. After being hospitalized as a teenager due to a major car accident, I felt even more passionately that I would choose medicine as my career. This experience as a patient helped me immensely in my journey to become a doctor, broadening my compassion and empathy. As a mother, I have also gained perspective on what it means to take care of a sick child.

As a pediatrician, I am inspired every day by my patients, and believe that resilience and positive spirit are a large part of health outcomes and overall life success. I enjoy helping families navigate every stage of childhood, from the day they arrive home from the hospital through seeing their children off to college. I am a dedicated and thoughtful pediatrician and consider it an honor to take care of my patients.
