Stanford Medicine Children's Health is the largest health care system in the San Francisco Bay Area—and one of the few in the country—exclusively dedicated to pediatric and obstetric care. Our physicians and health care teams offer comprehensive clinical services, from treatments for rare and complex conditions to well-child care. With Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford at the center of a network with more than 65 locations across the Bay Area and 85 locations in the U.S. Western region, our patients can access world-class care close to home.

We’re proud to be recognized as one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation in the 2024–25 U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals survey. For the ninth consecutive year, we ranked in all specialties, with three specialties ranked in the top 10 nationwide. We are tied for the highest-ranked hospital in Northern California and also tied as the No. 3 children’s hospital in California.
