When I was young, I wanted to become a veterinarian. But it turns out I was allergic to everything under the sun, including every animal, hay and grass. During high school, I shadowed an OB/GYN in my local community in Colorado, and that clinched my destiny.

The opportunity to bring life into the world makes my field one of the happiest in all of medicine. But my practice includes more than just delivering babies; I treat women in every aspect of their life.

I love being a woman in a woman's field. I have been through many of the same things my patients have been through, so I can relate. I treat all aspects of wellness, including stress reduction, work/life balance, parenting and anything else that may come up. It's a lot more than just an annual check-up.

People who know me say that I'm direct and I don't beat around the bush. I listen very closely to what my patients are saying, and I value their opinions about care. I think my ability to listen and truly hear what they are saying is what attracts people to me.
